THE RULES
JOINING
If you intend to join Room of Requirement, you must note that you have to abide by these rules.
1. You must be 13 or older to join any Proboards site. Just like with other social networks, you must have some sense of maturity towards you, but still have the ability to have fun and be respectful of fellow members.
2. Two, you should be familiar with Harry Potter. And when we say familiar, its recommended that you're a die hard fan. The Room of Requirements is a virtual Hogwarts where many of the things you see take place in the books and movies happen here. If you're going to be a professor, you must have some kind of knowledge of how your class runs. And before anybody asks, no we are not ACTUALLY practicing witchcraft. Just because you are asked to look up the five most powerful spells in the Harry Potter realm or describe a potion does not mean you are practicing anything that will have your grandmother condemning you to Hell.
3. Three, you must abide by not only all the other site rules but the Terms of Services as well. If not please forget joining. We will not tolerate people who can not abide the rules.
CHARACTERS
Room of Requirements is a place where you can create a character to make the journey through the years at Hogwarts. You start off as a first year student, making your way to each year by participating in classes and games, and being active in general. The more active you are, the faster you make it up the chain. Who knows, one day you'll find your self as a Prefect or Head Boy or Girl. The Room of Requirement is a place for you to grow as a member and hopefully as a person. Each person will experience different things, and its up to you to put yourself on the market and be involved!
Ulitmately, this is not a role playing site. There will be a thread for people interested in participating in a role play, but the entire site will not be based off of it. Just pick a username, get sorted, and have fun!!
CHAT BOX
The Rules of the Chat are as followed:
1. No Drama. RoR is a place for people to have fun and meet new people. We do not need to know every detailed fight you have in your life.
2. No fighting. Unless it's a playful Live Action Role Play going (and it's been known to happen), do not start picking fights. You will have your privilages moved immediately.
3. No extreme cursing. I will not ban cursing in general, because let's face it; it's going to slip eventually. But if you're going to drop the "F" bomb every other word, don't bother to post.
